Yes, charging curve is very dependent on many factors and it could be a bit better or worse. I hit it at a decent starting battery temp of around 24C.

@@minhtunghoang4743 It's still unavailable in our market. Where did you find this number? A direct conversion from other markets won't work. North Americans tend to get overcharged, especially for vehicles 10 to 20k markups.

I have test drive model Y and it has terrible interior with cheap Chinese looks. I decided to wait for VF 8 or 9 because the interior is much better.

Equinox and Mach-E?

@kelviskelvis7140 Thanks for watching! Kinda, they are a bit smaller IMO so may be more like compact SUV class. Certainly can lump them in for a comparison. Ford has dropped pricing on Mach E's to be very competitive and I do love them. Equinox is too early to say and pricing is still in a bit of flux until GM actually starts to deliver them in Canada. I have not driven one yet, only sat in car show static displays. Plus for sure Equinox is smaller than VF8.

@dougabbott8261 I disagree the market is not in turmoil in N/A in 2024. Look at Commercial sales along with consumer sales growing steadily. The pricing in 2024 has come to parody with ICE in the lower price segment in the US. (not sure outside the US as incentives are different) Prices are a limiting factor with EV and ICE with equal weight. Stunted massive EV market growth is weighed down by lack of availability of home/destination charging options outside of the single family home owner market. That is more of a planning issue than a market issue. The N/A consumer is now ready to include EV choices in their vehicle searches. Ken, as a Lyriq owner I found your review to be on target.

@@kelviskelvis7140 Lack of interest in Ev's for a lot of North Americans has had a huge impact on investment by the manufacturers with many reducing or delaying investment.

@@dougabbott8261 Reallocation of some investment to infrastructure supporting the market is more like what we are seeing in 2024. Stainable supply chain shoring up is also taking place. Lack of interest is not driving down the EV market. Given the opportunity and the confidence of supporting infrastructure US consumers do welcome the choice of an EV in the vehicle purchase decision.

VW ID7 delayed in U.S. and Canada, citing changing "marker dynamics"namely waning EV demand and it just goes on and on.

@dougabbott8261 Thanks for watching and I've always stated that the EV growth is fairly linear, small increases every year as EV adoption is such a challenge to get the masses educated, that this takes time. Plus more production ramp up needs to happen over this time. ICEVs will be around still for decades.

Thanks for watching and appreciate the feedback. With regards to engine sounds, no I did not see any indication or controls to change the volume of them. Just select the 3 different sounds or off. With regards to the Bose System, it is a good system and I had it cranked pretty good a few times. I will tell you that Bose is not a top end system (at least in autos) and my Model 3 and many others have better sound quality. In saying that, I am not an audiophile so as long as I can play my 80's music loud and clear, I'm a happy camper. I don't think the Bose system in the 5 N is any different than in the 5 with that option, but you might have to double check on that (example, maybe the put a bigger sub in the 5N?).
